Former President Donald Trump has reportedly ruled out Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. Doug Burgum as potential running mates for his 2024 presidential campaign. Sources close to the matter revealed that despite being considered top candidates, neither Rubio nor Burgum will be joining Trump on the ticket.
Speculation had been rife about who Trump would choose as his vice president for the upcoming election. However, it has now been confirmed that his decision does not include either Rubio or Burgum.
Trump is said to have already made his selection for the vice presidential slot, but the identity of his pick remains undisclosed. The former president is expected to unveil his running mate on the opening day of the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Monday.
