Former President Donald Trump has requested a judge to postpone his sentencing in the New York hush money case until after the upcoming November presidential election. This move comes as Trump faces legal challenges related to payments made to two women who claimed to have had affairs with him.

The hush money case revolves around payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal in an effort to keep their alleged affairs with Trump secret. Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to charges related to these payments in 2018.
