Russian President Vladimir Putin and United States President Donald Trump met in Alaska on Friday for a highly anticipated summit to discuss ending Moscow’s three-year-long war in Ukraine.
It was the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. While the meeting was anticipated to take about seven hours, it wrapped up in less than three, without a ceasefire agreement.
