Donald Trump called on Monday for media outlets to be arrested over rally crowd reports, alleging dishonesty in Truth Social posts that disputed accounts of empty seats at an Ohio arena.

His comments followed reports raising questions about attendance at Republican events in Ohio, Oklahoma and Alabama. The president insisted that the Ohio venue had been full, including its upper sections, and that thousands of people had been turned away.
