US President Donald Trump made a joke about Pearl Harbor in front of the Japanese Prime Minister during her official visit to the US on Thursday.

Sanae Takaichi appeared alongside Trump in the Oval Office on the first day of a three-day trip to Washington when he was asked by a Japanese journalist why the US had not warned its allies it was going to launch strikes on Iran.
