Donald Trump made an odd segue from a complaint about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani after spotting a woman in the crowd during an event honoring “angel families” of Americans killed by immigrants.
“The Mayor of New York is a very nice person, I met him, but his ideology is not too good,” began the president, “ but we’re having a massive snowstorm right now and I’ve heard that he’s asked people to come out and help shovel the snow. OK, so you get a shovel and you start shoveling, right? What the hell? You’re not gonna help too much, but you can help and... Hello darling, how are you?”
Trump then began speaking the female audience member about her eyes, saying: “I gave her money to get her eyes fixed. A lot of money to get her eyes fixed. That doctor ripped me off, but that’s OK.”
