Trump loyalist shares bizarre AI video of cardboard cut-outs of new Iran supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei

A senior White House staff member has released a bizarre AI-generated video of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Dan Scavino, Donald Trump’s White House Deputy Chief of Staff, posted the video to X on Wednesday, 11 March, which shows cardboard cut-outs of the leader being printed en masse, with the song "What's Up?" by 4 Non Blondes playing underneath. The song has become a trend on social media in recent months.

He also shared a picture of Secretary of State Marco Rubio sitting next to one of the cut-outs in the Oval Office.

Mojtaba Khamenei became Iran’s third supreme leader after his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in Israeli and U.S. airstrikes that pulverised his central Tehran compound in February.
