Retired US Army Lieutenant General Ben Hodges has accused President Donald Trump of deliberately undermining Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russia, saying the administration's actions were "entirely predictable".

"He was never going to support Ukraine, and was going to take the Russian side, the signs were all there," Hodges tells Euronews.
