Former President Donald Trump's campaign released a statement regarding his recent meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, marking their first encounter since Trump's departure from the White House over three years ago.
During the meeting, Netanyahu expressed gratitude towards Trump for his efforts in promoting stability in the region. This included achievements such as the Abraham Accords, relocating the United States Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, acknowledging Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, the elimination of Qasem Soleimani, termination of the Iran Nuclear Deal, and combating anti-Semitism both domestically and internationally.
Trump, in turn, conveyed his support for Israel in the wake of the October 7 Hamas attack. He assured Netanyahu that upon his return to the White House, he would prioritize efforts to bring peace to the Middle East and address the issue of anti-Semitism on college campuses in the United States.
