In a recent testimony, it was revealed that David Pecker, a close associate of former President Donald Trump, claimed that Trump contacted him regarding Stormy Daniels' interview with Anderson Cooper. Pecker stated that Trump insisted that Daniels owed him $24 million for breaching the agreement she had signed with Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen.

The agreement in question was related to Daniels' silence about her alleged affair with Trump. According to Pecker, Trump believed that Daniels violated the terms of the agreement by discussing Trump in the interview with Cooper.
