Truck, liquor worth over Rs 1.09 crore seized by Nashik Excise Dept

NASHIK: The state excise department of Nashik seized liquor bottles and a container truck, all worth over Rs 1.09 crore near Yeola on Sunday on the Nashik-Aurangabad Road.

The state excise department has also arrested a 33-year-old truck driver, resident of Chakkar Birdi in Dhule.

The state excise department officials said that they had received information about a truck transporting Goa manufactured Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), which is banned for sale in Maharashtra.
