A truck driver was rushed to hospital following a collision on the M50 last night.
The HGV crashed into the central median on the M50 southbound at Junction 9 Red Cow at around 9.20pm.
The driver was taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.
Diversions were in place as the M50 southbound was closed for several hours in the night but has since reopened.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision at Junction 9 on the M50 Southbound in Dublin yesterday evening 17th January 2022, at approximately 9.20 pm.
"An articulated truck collided with the central media on the motorway. The driver of the truck has later taken to Tallaght Hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
"The M50 Southbound was closed for a number of hours during the night but has since re-opened."
