Troubled Dumfries care home to close after operators agree to cancel registration

Dumfries Care Inspectorate

A troubled Dumfries care home is to close at the end of the month.

The operators of Dalawoodie House Nursing Home have agreed to cancel their registration of the facility.

Glasgow-based Downing Care Ltd notified Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership (DGHSCP) of its decision at the end of last week.
