TRNSMT organisers were putting the final touches on the festival site this afternoon - less than 48-hours before the music bash kicks off.
Tens of thousands of revellers are expected to descend on Glasgow Green from Friday until Sunday this weekend.
Paolo Nutini, The Strokes, Lewis Capaldi, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Wolf Alice, Sam Fender and Foals are among the acts that will be taking to the stage during the three-day event.
And the Covid restrictions of last year’s festival will no longer apply this year - making vaccine passports and testing requirements a thing of the past.

Gates to the festival will open for the first time at midday on Friday, with The Bootleg Beatles being the first act performing on the Main Stage.
As punters count down the hours to go before the festival, we were given a glimpse inside the site earlier this afternoon.
Workers could be seen working flat out to see up the Main Stage, King Tut’s Stage, River Stage and Boogie Bar on Wednesday.
Efforts were also being made to ensure the bar and food areas were in tip-top shape for the opening day.
And the final touches were also being completed in the VIP section of the site.
The iconic ferris wheel also stood tall above the site, which will provide punters with incredible views of the acts and the surrounding city.
Speaking to the Daily Record, TRNSMT boss Geoff Ellis said he is ‘very excited’ for the opening day on Friday.
He said: “We’ve got a lot of great live music on the Friday. Bootleg Beatles will be starting of the festival, which I think will be a lot of fun as the first act to appear.
“We’ve also got Tom Grennan, Chic & Nile Rodgers, Sam Fender - who could be headlining in his own right - and the return of Paolo. I think Friday is going to be sensational.
“On Saturday, you’ve got The Strokes, Foals, then on Sunday you’ve got Lewis Capaldi and Wolf Alice.
“As well as those acts, you’ve got newer artists like Wet Leg, like Griff, like Dylan, Self Esteem, Callum Beattie - there’s all these new artists coming through that it’s great to have them all on the bill.”
Last year saw TRNSMT kick off in an unusual September - which is when mass gatherings were allowed once again following 18 months of Covid restrictions.
This year it will take place in its usual slot in the first weekend of July - with Scots hoping that the weather will be on their side.
Geoff added: “Last year saw TRNSMT open up the live events again, it reopened the industry as it was the first significant event and it all went very well and the atmosphere was great then.
“It’s nice to be back in the heart of the summer this time around.”
