This is the hilarious moment when TRNSMT was invaded by a swarm of menacing seagulls.
Revellers were heard screaming and fleeing the scene as dozens of birds flew into one of the many food court areas at the Glasgow Green festival. Hundreds of members of the crowd were enjoying their tea and queuing for drinks when the seagulls appeared out of nowhere.
The cheeky nose-diving birds flew down to collect chips and discarded pizza slices before flying off. In one clip the seagulls can be seen circle the area flying low, as some terrifying revellers run off.
The birds continued to pester the crowd for several minutes as they continued on their hunt for a snack. Unfortunately, they missed out on being able to enjoy a McDonalds - as the van was so popular they had ran out of grub by 6.30pm.
A sign on the front of the trailer read: "We have sold out today! (We will be back tomorrow)"
The seagulls haven't damped the mood in what has otherwise been a cracking start to the festival. From 11am, queues could be seen winding their way around the two entrances to Glasgow Green as saltires waved and fans wearing booty shorts and bucket hats screamed in anticipation.
Inside Glasgow Green, the Bootleg Beatles kicked off the music on stage as the determined sun tried to make its way through the clouds. The grey skies threatened a shower early afternoon but the general temperature was described as ‘clammy’ in some places and ‘windy’ in others.
As Sam Fender took to the stage at 7.15pm the heavens opened as the raucous crowd got a soaking. But the ever-changing Glasgow weather hasn't dampen anyone's spirits as the Geordie star got the crowd going with massive hits such as Get You Down and Spit Of You.
