April marks Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) awareness month as it is expected millions of people in the UK is affected by it.
While it is a chronic condition and might not go away completely, there are ways to manage it and reduce the frequency of attacks.
According to Bupa, around four in ten Brits suffer with digestive problems and about two in ten people have been diagnosed with IBS - with many more not even aware they have it.
