Met Éireann isn't offering any treats this Halloween with their horror forecast for the big night.
The national forecast admits there is uncertainty in the weather models but expects a washout on Monday for Halloween with heavy rain sweeping across the country.
In their forecast for Monday, Met Éireann said: "There is some uncertainty around the details, but it will become wet for the bank holiday as heavy rain gradually spreads across the country from the west."

They also say that it will be "breezy at times in moderate to fresh southerly winds, easing later. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees. Monday night will be a cooler night with further rain and lows of 6 to 9 degrees."
Unsettled weather looks likely to persist through the weekend as well and next week beyond October 31.
Friday will see some sunny spells today but with scattered showers in the west and southwest extending eastwards and becoming more widespread this afternoon.
"Some of these will be heavy and a few possibly thundery. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with moderate to fresh south to southwest winds," Met Éireann said.
Showers will continue for a time on Friday night, mainly over the western half of the country, some heavy.
"Later in the night, persistent rain will develop in the south and spread northwards over the southern half of the country by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with light to moderate south to southeast winds
"Saturday morning will be wet and blustery with rain extending northwards to all areas early in the morning. the rain will clear northwards through the late morning and afternoon with showers following from the south, some heavy. Fresh southeasterly winds will become southerly later. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees."
For Sunday, Met Eireann expects "a mix of sunny spells and frequent showers, in moderate to fresh southwest winds. Many showers will be heavy. Showers will become confined to western and southern areas in the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.
"Dry in many areas at first, with some showers in the west and south. Outbreaks of rain will develop in the west and southwest overnight. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will increase strong on Atlantic coasts. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees."
After Monday's washout, they say rain will clear on Tuesday morning but will be followed by widespread showers in moderate to fresh southerly winds. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
Beyond that, forecasters expect conditions to continue "unsettled through midweek with temperatures near average."
