CHANDIGARH/MOHALI/PANCHKULA: Chandigarh logged four Covid cases and no death on Thursday.
Of the 91,920 cases reported so far, 90,731 patients have been cured and there are 24 active cases. The death toll is 1,165. Meanwhile, 1,366 people were vaccinated in Chandigarh on Thursday.
The first dose was administered to 383, and the second to 292. Covaxin was administered to 308 in the age group of 15-17 years and Corbevax to 383 in 12 to 14 years age group. As many as 27,963 have received the booster dose.
Mohali reported one fresh Covid case and no death on Thursday. Of the 95,691 cases reported so far, 94,533 patients have been cured. There are 10 active cases and the district’s death tally is 1,148. Meanwhile, 958 people were vaccinated on Thursday.
The first dose was administered to 182 including 120 in the age group of 15 to 17, and the second to 660 including 242 in the age group of 15 to 17 while 581 in the age group of 12 to 14 years received the jabs. A total of 116 persons received the booster dose.
Panchkula reported no fresh Covid case on Thursday. Only four active cases remain in the district. Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Mukta Kumar warned residents against complacency and said that Covid protocol must be followed. A total of 44,133 Covid cases have been reported in the district.
