An inquest into Ms Smith’s death opened on Wednesday (May 17) in Caernarfon. The inquest heard that Ms Smith, who worked behind a bar, was formally identified by her friend.

A post mortem was conducted by Dr Mark Atkinson. Kate Sutherland, acting senior coroner for North West Wales, adjourned the inquest to a later date pending further investigation.
