Tributes to Toy Story loving boy who will be 'forever six in infinity and beyond'

Tributes have poured in after a special funeral service for a six year old boy who loved Toy Story and lived his life to the most.

The story of Zack Molyneux first touched reader's hearts in 2021 after the then-four-year-old collapsed at nursery. Weeks later Zack was given just months to live after doctors found he had multiple brain tumours.

But brave Zack battled the disease for two years, and in that time would make the most of his life meeting his heroes at Liverpool FC and the Bromborough Community Fire Station. His funeral was held yesterday after he died aged six.]

His friends, family and heroes gathered at the fire station for a funeral procession led by two fire engines to Christ Church in Port Sunlight. His family turned out wearing green ties and scarfs in honour of Zack, while mum Sophie Topham clutched a teddy Woody from Toy Story to her chest.

Parents Sophie and Adam were escorted from the fire station to Christ Church in Port Sunlight in a fire engine, with Woody and Buzz Lightyear toys hanging off the back. You've Got a Friend in Me, from Zack's favourite Toy Story movies, was played as mourners entered the church.
