Tributes have been paid to a soldier who has died following a "non-operational" incident. Connor Morrison of 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment died following the incident in Ipswich on July 23.
The 20-year-old reportedly collapsed and died during the week where a record-breaking heatwave hit the country. At the time the Daily Record reported an investigation was under way into the circumstances surrounding his death.
However now tributes have been paid to the soldier who was described as a "selfless and kind-hearted professional solider who made frieds wherever he went."
