Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in after the death of a well-known Ayrshire supermarket worker.
Selfless Sharon Govan was community champion at Morrisons in Kilmarnock, and she touched the lives of many with her kind acts.
She took part in countless charity events, fundraisers and she was a friendly face for anyone heading into the shop.
A family member posted a touching tribute to Sharon: "Heaven definitely gained an angel, taken far too young and soon.
"You were a great mum and you loved your family dearly, especially your mum who was your best friend.
"You were always there for everyone especially my wee boy, always had a smile on your face and a laugh to give.
"You put up a big fight and still had a big smile on your face even on your worst days, always had a great sense of humour even until the end.
"You're the bravest and strongest person, you are at peace now and we will miss you always and forever. Love you loads, sleep tight."
The owner of Kr8tion Performing Arts, who worked closely with Sharon, said: "So saddened to say heaven has gained a massive angel.
"I can’t thank Sharon enough for the help she had given me throughout the years with Kr8tion, she gave me my first little opportunity to have kids perform in Morrisons to spread the news about me opening my own school and giving me the opportunity to teach her beautiful talented daughter along the way!
"She helped out so much with Kr8tion from our shows and just supporting in general I’m sure anyone that knew Sharon would know she done her all to be helpful kind and there for everyone!
"I really hope Sharon you are at peace now, no more pain and you will be looking down on your beautiful family. Sharon Govan you will never be forgotten."
Another tribute said: "She was a wee firecracker with a heart of gold. Mad Sharon was her nickname but in a loving way. Pure gem of a lady and will be missed."
And another added: "Sharon was such a kind, thoughtful and caring person. She supported many larders and resilience groups above and beyond. My thoughts are with her family and friends."
