Well, it has been a long and pretty sad 24 hours. First with news yesterday of Rod Marsh’s death and then Shane Warne’s overnight. Warne had been watching the first Test between Australia and Pakistan on television in his Koh Samui hotel room when he had a suspected heart attack, according to Nine newspapers. Warne’s long-time manager, James Erskine, told the Sydney Morning Herald The Age he had not been drinking before he was found, having started a diet to lose weight.
