Tribute to ‘beautiful girl’ who died with two other teens in car river plunge

The family of a 16-year-old who died after a car plunged into the River Wear have paid tribute to their “beautiful girl”, saying she had a “zest for life”.

Zara Shaw died when the vehicle went into the water near Wearmouth Bridge, Sunderland, on Tuesday, along with Jackson Duke, 17, and Luke Etheridge, 16.
