Lanarkshire MP Margaret Ferrier has been accused of failing to tell Test and Protect that she attended the Houses of Parliament.
The Rutherglen and Hamilton West representative allegedly travelled from Glasgow to London in the knowledge that she had COVID symptoms between September 26 and 29, 2020.
The 61-year-old allegedly made several journeys having been told to self-isolate.
Prosecutor Mark Allan told a pre-trial hearing that he wished to amend the single charge.
He stated: "Insert 'and did thereafter fail to disclose to representatives of Test and Protect national contact tracing centre NHS Scotland that you did attend Houses of Parliament, Westminster on September 28, 2020'."
Ferrier - whose attendance was excused - continued to plead not guilty through her lawyer Neal McShane.
He told the court that he received an outstanding report from a virologist at 11.55pm yesterday (Monday).
Mr McShane said: "This has been forwarded to senior counsel Brian McConnachie QC to consider what is to be lodged as a defence production and the author of the report to be lodged as a witness.
"I saw him last week - he is doing a trial at the High Court.
"A decision will be made in relation to that.
"I have made sure that disclosure issues have been resolved and the defence is ready for trial."
Mr Allan later told the court that it was "more realistic" that the trial would last 10 days rather than the original five days.
Prosecutors state the suspended SNP politician culpably and recklessly booked a test for COVID-19, stating in the booking application that she had symptoms of the disease.
The charge claims she was told to self-isolate and wilfully exposed people to the risk of infection, illness and death.
It is alleged this was done by travelling throughout Glasgow and the surrounding areas as well as journeys to and from London.
The charge states Ferrier was at a variety of locations over the three days.
These include locations in Rutherglen such as Lifestyle Leisure centre, Sweet P Boutique and Vanilla Salon.
Ferrier also allegedly visited Grace and Flavour, Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, as well as St Mungo’s Church, Glasgow and Vic’s Bar in Prestwick, Ayrshire.
The charge states Ferrier made a taxi journey from her home in Glasgow’s Cambuslang to the city’s Central train station.
It is claimed she travelled to London Euston station and elsewhere in the English capital including the Houses of Parliament.
Ferrier is then said to have made the return journey to Glasgow from London by train.
Sheriff Andrew Cubie told the hearing: "I will continue to the date of trial on August 15."
