Trevor Lawrence would’ve missed Monday practice if there was one

The Jacksonville Jaguars didn’t actually practice Monday, a day after earning a Week 6 win against the Indianapolis Colts. But with a Thursday night matchup against the New Orleans Saints just says away, the team had to release an injury report anyway.

So after a Monday walkthrough, the Jaguars released an estimation of the participation of their players in a full practice if they held one. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence would’ve sat out the session, according to the team.

Lawrence, 24, has never missed a game in his NFL career, but that streak is in jeopardy after his knee was twisted on a sack late in the game against the Colts. While an MRI reportedly showed a sprain and “no major injury,” Jaguars coach Doug Pederson is playing coy about Lawrence’s availability this week.

Pederson said Monday that cornerback Tyson Campbell probably miss the Week 7 game against the Saints.

The Saints released a similar estimation Monday that was much lengthier than the Jaguars’ report. It included quarterback Derek Carr, who was listed as limited with a right shoulder/chest injury.

Carr has been dealing with a right shoulder problem since suffering the injury in Week 3.
