NEW DELHI: Paceman Trent Boult achieved the distinction of becoming the first New Zealand bowler to claim 50 wickets in the ICC ODI World Cup during the match against Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.
Tim Southee ranks second on the list, securing 38 wickets in the tournament. Boult attained the feat when he dismissed Sri Lanka's Kusal Mendis.
