Treasure hunters to dig up canister thought to contain £200million worth of Nazi gold

Treasure hunters have been granted permission to raise a buried canister they believe has £200million of Nazi gold stashed in it.

The Silesian Bridge Foundation will go into the 18th-century palace in southern Poland next month to find out if the treasures are there.

It is thought the treasure was stolen at the order of SS boss Heinrich Himmler to set up the Fourth Reich.
