Jason Kelce’s NFL career came to an end Monday when he announced his retirement from the league. He spent his entire 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles, winning one Super Bowl and being named a first-team All-Pro six times.
Kelce wept throughout his announcement as he talked about his path to the NFL and his legendary tenure with the Eagles.
His younger brother, Travis Kelce, was in attendance at the press conference and could be seen shedding tears as well. The two brothers are extremely close, and this was clearly a tough day for both of them.

A beautiful moment to see Jason’s family going through this with him. He is looking at them often throughout the speech #Eagles pic.twitter.com/ieIqxDRGt4

The two brothers made NFL history in the 2022 season when they faced off in Super Bowl LVII, which the Kansas City Chiefs won, 38–35.
