This week, some of the NFL’s more unheralded players descended on Nashville to celebrate one thing — the tight end position.
In a tradition that started in 2021, “Tight End University” invites current and former legends of the position to collaborate and celebrate each other in Central Tennessee. It’s a cool little “festival” recognizing that, sometimes, tight ends don’t always get the praise they deserve compared to other players in pro football. And, as such, it tries to rectify that problem.
During one of the week’s nighttime events, future First-Ballot Hall of Famer Travis Kelce delivered quite a rousing speech to the room.
Based on the whooping and cheering after the fact, I think everyone in attendance was pretty darn fired up listening to the Kansas City Chiefs superstar:

I don’t know about you, but I watched that speech, and now I want to be an NFL tight end. Aside from the extremely demanding workouts and general high-level athletic ability, where do I sign up?
