Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been named among the victims of a more than $35 million (£26.2 million) Ponzi scheme, as investment adviser Siddharth Jawahar was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison and ordered to pay $31.35 million (£23.4 million) in restitution.

A Missouri prosecutor mentioned Kelce during Jawahar's sentencing in St Louis on 15 September 2026, but provided no further details about his investment or losses. The NFL star's individual investment amount and any specific losses have not been publicly disclosed. Jawahar, 38, pleaded guilty to three counts of wire fraud in January 2026.
