Travis Kelce explains viral moment between Chiefs coach Andy Reid, Taylor Swift

The AFC Championship game is in the Kansas City Chiefs’ rearview as they look ahead to Super Bowl LVIII. As preparations are underway for their next challenge, stories from the impressive road victory last Sunday over the Baltimore Ravens are still being told.

In the latest episode of “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” the Kelce brothers recapped the Chiefs’ AFC Championship game victory over the Ravens. Travis explained the famous pointing photo from the podium between head coach Andy Reid and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“Going to the Super Bowl, baby, Going to the bowl. We did it,” Kelce exclaimed. “Obviously, we’ve already talked about how they kind of know each other from the Philly days. Yeah, Scott Swift, shout out to big Scott. He and Andy (Reid) are good friends. There you go. That was a cool moment to see afterward. I didn’t get to see it because I was up on the stage. Screaming fight for your right, but yeah, it was a cool one.”

Taylor’s father, Scott, is a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan and already had a friendship with Reid, who coached the team for years before going to Kansas City. Reid has often joked about being responsible for Swift and Kelce getting together when asked at press conferences during the regular season.

Kelce was enjoying the title victory on stage with his teammates, missing the viral moment live. He hopes to be present for another signature situation between Reid and Swift at the end of Super Bowl LVIII.
