Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has been making the most of his eventful weekend at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. After attending the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, Kelce flew into Florida on Sunday morning to partake in the race. Sporting a coordinated green outfit, sunglasses, and a black Alpine Racing baseball hat, the 34-year-old NFL star was seen at the Miami International Autodrome gearing up for the event.
Kelce, who is an investor in the Alpine F1 team, was expected to be accompanied by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at the race. However, Swift did not join him in Florida, nor did she attend the Derby with him. Despite flying solo, Kelce appeared to be in good spirits as he strolled around the raceway.
During the race, Kelce is likely to spend time with his Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and Mahomes' wife, Brittany, who have been enjoying the F1 festivities in Miami throughout the weekend. Patrick and Brittany were seen at various Miami hotspots, including a star-studded gathering at Carbone Beach with celebrities like LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
Meanwhile, Kelce showcased his style at the Kentucky Derby in a tan suit, light blue dress shirt, navy blue fedora, and matching tie. Prior to the Derby, he was seen socializing with Alex Pall of the Chainsmokers and former NBA player Chandler Parsons.
Swift, on the other hand, reportedly flew to France on her private plane on Friday as she prepares to resume her Eras Tour in Paris on May 9. The couple recently spent time together in Las Vegas, attending a double date with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, followed by a gala for Patrick's 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.
A source revealed that Swift is conflicted about returning to her tour as her bond with Kelce has deepened in recent months, making the prospect of being apart more challenging for her. The insider suggested that Swift might feel a sense of sadness about resuming her tour due to the strong connection she shares with Kelce.
