Travellers have been spotted after setting up caravans on a Nottingham playing field. A group of travellers have moved onto a space next to Clifton Playing Fields off Farnborough Road.
They were still at the site as of 10am on Thursday, March 16. Nottingham City Council said it had served the group an eviction notice on Wednesday, March 15.
The authority said it was the same travellers who were at the Queens Drive park and ride earlier this week. "We are aware and it is the same group who were at the P&R site earlier in the week," said a spokesman.

"We served a 24-hour notice on them yesterday and are revisiting the site this morning. If they fail to comply we will look to instruct bailiffs for eviction proceedings."
The travellers vacated the Queens Drive park and ride after they were spotted there on Tuesday morning (March 14). The City Council, which manages the facility, said the caravans had exited the park and ride before 5pm on March 14, meaning no further action would have to be taken by the authority.
