Six individuals caused a disruption at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn., when they rushed onto the 18th green during the final hole of regulation play on Sunday. The intruders sprayed white and red powder on the grass, leading to a brief delay in the tournament.
Despite the unexpected interruption, golfers Scottie Scheffler, Tom Kim, and Akshay Bhatia managed to complete their rounds. Scheffler, who had a chance to secure victory with a 26-foot putt, narrowly missed and settled for a par.
