Piers Morgan has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for using an unexpected clip of him in the latest trailer to promote their bombshell Netflix series.
Harry & Meghan drops on the streaming site on Dec 8 and has already sent fans into a frenzy.
In a new trailer for the film, released today, former Good Morning Britain host Piers is heard gushing: "She's [Meghan's] becoming a royal rock star."
After the praise debuted across Netflix's social media accounts, a furious Piers has clapped back at the couple for 'exploiting' him.
Taking to Twitter, he fumed: "Princess Pinocchio & Prince Hypocrite use my voice to flog their ghastly new series. I’m traumatised by this exploitation."
Piers was famously a supporter and 'friend' of Meghan before her marriage to Harry.
He has since accused her of 'ditching' him and been very vocal in criticising her for stepping down from the royal family.
Piers was particularly savage in his response to Meghan's now infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey and CBS - which led to his departure from ITV.
Many fans accused the host of being "obsessed" with the former Suits actress before he quit GMB when he refused to apologise for calling Meghan a liar.
The father-of-four refuted claims the mum-of-two faced mental health struggles as a senior royal, as a result of her treatment by Harry's family.
Meghan allegedly contacted head of ITV Dame Carolyn ‘demanding Piers' head on a plate’, which Piers says resulted in him being ‘forced out’ of ITV.
However, in an interview with The Sunday Times, Dame Carolyn has denied Meghan’s letter influenced Piers’ departure.
Piers, obviously, wasn't having any of it, tweeting:“Recollections may vary,” followed by an eye-roll emoji.
When the trailer for Harry & Meghan was released, the host responded to claims the couple were hounded by the paparazzi, tweeting: “Princess Pinocchio at it again…”
Responding to Harry's claims there is a "war" against Meghan, he added: "Says the guy waging a relentless vicious public war against his own family. Harry's such a spoiled, manipulated brat."
One fan slammed the host saying: “Don't you have better things to talk about like having three prime ministers in a year. Why so irked by Meghan's life?”
But the former royals have courted a wealth of publicity with their bombshell interviews and now the Netflix documentary looks like it'll go stratospheric.
A second trailer for the series features the duchess crying with Prince Harry claiming he was terrified his wife would meet the same fate at his late mother, Princess Diana.
The brand new promo clip, which aired today, features the pair talking about their lives in the royal family and the hierarchy within it - as well as claiming stories about them have been planted and leaked.
Harry says in the new teaser: "There's a hierarchy of the family. You know, there's leaking but there's also planting of stories.
He later adds: "It's a dirty game."
It's been confirmed the first episodes will drop this Thursday (December 8) and on the Thursday after (December 15) the remaining episodes will be available.
