Transportation tenders: Punjab vigilance bureau arrests former cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu

LUDHIANA: The vigilance bureau on Monday arrested former Punjab food, civil supplies and consumer affairs minister in the Congress government Bharat Bhushan Ashu in connection with the allotment of transportation tenders on the fake registration numbers of vehicles.

The bureau arrested Ashu days after his close aide Pankaj Meenu Malhotra was booked in this case.
