The group are reported by BBC Sport to be open to becoming majority shareholders but are presently only interested in a smaller stake.

Fulham have been linked with several Los Blancos players since appointing ex-Madrid boss Alvaro Arbeloa as their new head coach earlier this summer.

According to Marca and The Athletic, those signings are now agreed.

Manchester United have confirmed the departure of Tyler Fredricson.
The centre-back, 21, has left Old Trafford on a permanent basis to join FC Lausanne-Sport.
The Swiss club are also under the Ineos ownership umbrella.
Lifelong fan and Manchester native Fredricson joined United at Under-9s level and progressed all the way through to the first team, making his senior debut in April 2025 and registering four appearances in total.

The France defender’s £52m switch to Stamford Bridge from London rivals Crystal Palace was officially announced on Thursday.
Lacroix has signed a six-year contract at Chelsea that runs until the summer of 2032 and will join up with the squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

It seems that Howe’s exit has been in the works now for around two weeks, following his first indications at the start of pre-season that he wanted to stand down.

The Brazilian is expected back at pre-season training with Newcastle on Friday following a post-World Cup break and the recent reporting has been that he won’t try to force a move in the same fashion as Alexander Isak did last summer.
Newcastle go to La Manga in Spain for a training camp next week before playing Valencia on August 8.
“We’ve [Howe and Guimaraes] spoken numerous times,” Howe said. “Assurances? I don’t think you can push too hard for those.
“I’ve said many times we want players who are committed, and Bruno has always been committed.

It was revealed yesterday that Liverpool were poised to launch their first offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Barcola, whom French publication L’Equipe claimed had already verbally agreed a switch to Anfield following earlier interest from Arsenal.
However, it seemed that the two clubs were a way apart in their respective valuations of the France winger, with PSG said to be demanding an eye-watering £145m.
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany says that while negotiations are not easy, a deal to take Barcola to Liverpool is “on” as talks continue.

Last weekend came the blockbuster news that the Gunners were exploring what would be the biggest signing in their history - and maybe the biggest ever in the Premier League - amid Vinicius Jr’s ongoing contract stand-off with Real Madrid.
It was then quickly reported that Madrid had no intention of selling their top asset and were confident that he would agree an extension to a deal that expires next summer.
HandofArsenal on X has now posted a detailed update on Vinicius Jr, insisting that Arsenal have held talks with the player’s camp and are ready to make a “serious” offer if his negotiations at the Bernabeu come to nothing.
Interestingly, they say that Arsenal feature very prominently as a “highly-compatible destination” for Vinicius Jr during data-led searches for a potential ideal next fit.
It is also said that Madrid and Vinicius are miles apart as things stand on contract figures, with talks poised to resume in the coming days but the LaLiga giants not willing to go above their limit as they also look to avoid losing him for free next summer.

One of the summer’s most complicated and confusing transfer sagas has involved no shortage of claims, counter-claims, denials, intermediaries and apparent animosity.
It has been reported this week that Arsenal are in advanced talks with Newcastle over a verbal agreement for Guimaraes worth in excess of £75m, while Magpies boss Eddie Howe said yesterday that he could offer no assurances over the Brazilian’s future.

Manchester United’s quest for midfield reinforcements has brought them to France’s Manu Kone and Brighton man Carlos Baleba.
The two are the Red Devils’ preferred options, report the i Paper Sport, after missing out on Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham and being priced out of a move for Aurelien Tchouameni.
Kone, 25, was a mainstay for Les Bleus at the World Cup - partnering Tchouameni - while Baleba, 22, has been the subject of longstanding interest from United.

FA issues strong response to Infantino World Cup plans

The FA have said they are “deeply concerned” by Gianni Infantino’s proposal to establish a private company to run FIFA competitions.
This follows on from rumours UEFA and its 55 member nations will consider a boycott of the next World Cup and PM Andy Burnham said “the World Cup is not a product.”
The FA also stated: “We were completely unaware of this proposal and have no substantive details, including what the proposition actually is, and what conditions are attached.”
“Based on the limited information, we are deeply concerned about the lack of process and governance to get to this point, and the apparent substance and principles involved.”
No Fernandes for Spurs

Amid Jordan Henderson’s rumoured move from Brentford to Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea, Sky Sports report Bees want to replace the 36-year-old with Lens man Mamadou Sangare.
The Blues are adding experience to their ranks, with Brighton forward Danny Welbeck, 35, also on the brink of a move to Stamford Bridge.
Lens’ Sangare, 24, is a Mali international and joined the French side last summer for £6.9m (€8m) from Rapid Vienna.
He made 29 league appearances, starting 27, scoring three and assisting four goals and helped Lens win the French cup.

Los Blancos appear determined to pull off a blockbuster move for Manchester City’s Ballon d’Or and World Cup Golden Ball winner, despite confirmation yesterday that he had undergone a back procedure.
Fabrizio Romano reports this morning that Real Madrid have now made their first approach to City for Rodri and indicated that they are willing to pay in excess of €50m for his signature.
He says Madrid president Florentino Perez has personally approved the deal.

Fulham have made a move for Real Madrid youngster Cesar Palacios.
The Cottagers have been linked with a whole host of Los Blancos players since appointing Alvaro Arbeloa as their new manager earlier this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, they have now begun talks with Madrid over the structure of a transfer for 21-year-old midfielder Palacios.

Danny Welbeck to Chelsea has now been given the “here we go” treatment by Fabrizio Romano.
He says a medical is imminent after Welbeck agreed a two-year contract at Stamford Bridge that will run until the summer of 2028.
Welbeck apparently asked Brighton to allow him to make the switch to Chelsea, who will hope to welcome him on their pre-season trip to Hong Kong later this week.

Bradley Barcola has agreed a deal in principle to join Liverpool.
The France forward has become the No1 transfer target at Anfield for the start of the Andoni Iraola era as a suitable replacement is sought for Mohamed Salah.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, Barcola has now verbally agreed to join Liverpool.
However, the Reds have much work to do to agree a fee with Paris Saint-Germain, who are said to be demanding a mammoth £145m.
