A January switch to Nottingham Forest looks unlikely for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Bakayoko has been frozen out at AC Milan where he is into the second year of a loan deal from Chelsea.
The 28-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance this term for the Rossoneri and there were rumours linking him with a return to the Premier League.

Forest and Newcastle were both said to be interested but with nothing materialising and the UK window now closed, it appeared Greece would provide an escape route.
The Greek window remains open until September 15 and Olympiacos were rumoured to be keen to land the ex-Monaco midfielder, with a subsequent January switch to Forest mooted.
However, Romano has poured cold water on those claims, saying the rumours “are wide of the mark”.
Bakayoko has played just 29 times for Chelsea since his £40million switch in July 2017, with his second loan spell at AC Milan following on from similar spells at former club Monaco and Napoli.
Meanwhile, former Forest flop Pajtim Kasami does appear close to a return to Olympiacos, with “negotiations ongoing”.
Kasami, who played 25 times for Forest on loan from the Greek giants in 2016-17, is a free agent after leaving FC Basel.
