
A federal appeals court in Tennessee has upheld a law banning gender-affirming care for trans youth, the first such federal court ruling to side with the wave of newly enacted state laws prohibiting affirming healthcare.
Last month, a federal judge granted a preliminary injunction that blocked Tennessee’s law after a legal challenge from a group of trans children and their families.
