The Mirror reports the Scottish actor, 51, and Mary, 37, welcomed their son Laurie last June. However, they never publicly announced an engagement.

An insider shared details of the intimate wedding to People. They said: “It was a small wedding for family and close friends.

“They had an outdoor ceremony, it was lovely and joyful.

“The menu was farm-to-table, they are an adorable couple and are pretty low-key and like their canyon life.”

Ewan and Mary largely keep their private life out of the public eye.

Ewan’s eldest daughter, Clara, 26, was the only one to announce the arrival of the couple's child last year on Instagram.

She said: ”Welcome to the world little brother…congratulations to my Dad and Mary - this is the greatest gift.”

When the pair met they were both still married to other people but soon split from their partners before being spotted together in public.

The Trainspotting actor’s first marriage ended in 2018 after divorcing production designer, Eve Mavrakis.

The two were married 22 years before they split in 2018 in a messy divorce.

They have four children together Clara, 26, Esther Rose, 20, Jamyan, 20, and Anouk,11.

Clara was originally unhappy about the couple and previously called Mary “a piece of trash” on Instagram. They have since reconciled.
