Trainee, 21, took his own life minutes after being fired from high-flying job over Zoom

A high-flying trainee who worked with a major accountancy firm took his own life just minutes after being told he had been sacked over Zoom, an inquest heard.

Oliver Bredski, 21, was found dead by his sister Rachel in the loft of their family home in Kersal and had left a note reading: "I've been sacked."

He had logged onto his Deloitte virtual performance review meeting via video call, then, shortly after, went upstairs in his parents' home and took his own life.
