Train services across Renfrewshire will stop at 6pm this evening as Storm Corrie hits the region.
The storm is expected to bring heavy rain and winds of up to 80mph and comes after Storm Mailk swept in yesterday.
As a precaution, ScotRail bosses have decided to stop all services running between 6pm and midnight when the worst of the storm is expected to hit.
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office from 3pm this afternoon until noon tomorrow.
It expects Storm Corrie will likely cause some travel disruption and generate some large and dangerous waves around the coasts.
ScotRail said the strength of the winds expected could damage infrastructure, blowing debris and trees onto tracks and damaging equipment such as overhead electric power lines and signals.

A ScotRail spokesperson said: “We know the impact that the earlier withdrawal of services will have on customers but it’s a necessary step to ensure the safety of our staff and customers due to the severe weather.
“If you have to travel tomorrow, please check the ScotRail app or website before heading to the station. With services being withdrawn in the early evening, we’d ask all customers to carefully plan ahead.”
A limited number of cross-border and freight services will continue to run on some lines, but at reduced speed.
Network Rail will have additional engineers out across the network ready to react to problems and will check all affected lines for damage before reintroducing services as quickly as possible on Monday.
A Network Rail spokesperson said: “Storm Corrie has the potential to cause significant disruption to our infrastructure blowing trees onto tracks and damaging equipment.
“A controlled withdrawal of ScotRail services on Sunday evening is the safest way to manage the risks posed by the storm.
“We will be working hard throughout Sunday to respond to any issues caused by Storm Corrie and will reintroduce services as soon as lines are inspected for damage and we are sure it is safe to do so.”
