There was tragedy on Greater Manchester's railways on Sunday afternoon as two men died on the tracks in the space of two hours.
In two unrelated incidents, police and paramedics were first called to the railway line in Wythenshawe at 4.17pm following reports of a 'casualty on the tracks'.
A man was pronounced dead on the scene.
It is thought the incident occurred on the line near Southmoor Road.

Pictures from the scene showed a halted train and what appeared to be forensics officers on the line.
Trains between Stockport and Altrincham were cancelled for around three hours following the incident.
Just over two hours later police were called to a second report of a 'casualty of the tracks' at Smithy Bridge in Rochdale.
Again, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said neither incident was being treated as suspicious and files were being prepared for the coroner.
