A little girl choked to death in Asda despite an off-duty paramedic's best attempts to save her in what is being described as a "tragic accident".
Three-year-old Poppy Reardon visited the store on on August 10, 2021, with her parents who were picking up some essentials for a camping trip the next day.
An inquest into the tot's death, held at Bootle Town Hall on Thursday, heard that the little girl had "choked on a foreign object" after she had "bitten off" her father's hoodie, the Liverpool Echo reports.
