A man allegedly pulled up by a playground and dumped three sick puppies with a group of children. Heartbreakingly, the six week old dogs died shortly after being rushed to the vets.
RSPCA are now appealing for information about the incident, which took place on January 17, on a field near Hall Lane, Farnworth. It is believed that the puppies - a lurcher and two Chihuahuas - were from unwanted breeding litters.
Inspector Beth Fazackerley attended to collect the puppies and took them to the RSPCA’s Greater Manchester Animal Hospital. She said: “Very sadly, one of the Chihuahua puppies was very weak and wasn’t able to lift up their head.
