The body of a man has been found in a car park in Wakefield, police have confirmed.
West Yorkshire Police (WYP) were informed that the body had been found in a car park off Eastmoor Road, next to Eastmoor off-licence, at just before 3.15pm on Tuesday. A crime scene was pictured near Pinderfields hospital.
Crime scene investigators were seen taking pictures at the scene and police tape was put up around the area. Yorkshire Air Ambulance were also called to the street.

Enquiries into what happened are ongoing but WYP have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious. Confirming the details of the incident, a spokesperson for the force said: "Police were made aware at 3.14pm yesterday by Yorkshire Ambulance Service that the body of a man had been found in a car park off Eastmoor Road, Wakefield.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner."
