A four-year-old girl has died after a reported dog attack.
Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to the back garden of a home in Netherfield, Milton Keynes, following reports a dog attacking a child. Once officers got to the scene it was quickly confirmed a four-year-old girl had died.
Officers remain at the scene, where the dog has since been destroyed. No one else was hurt in the incident, and the child’s family are being supported by specially trained officers, police say.
