The Trafford Centre’s summer of sport is set to kick off from June 27, with a free fan zone to watch Wimbledon, Tour De France and the Athletics World Championships on a giant screen.
A further two big screens will go live from July 22 showing more live sports and classic films throughout the summer. Zoe Inman, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for Trafford Centre, as our outdoor event sees a major refresh for summer 2022.
"We look forward to welcoming our existing loyal and new customers throughout the summer season for a new leisure experience”.

A free national roadshow recently headed to The Trafford Centre for the women's European Championships aiming to inspire more people to get involved in the biggest European women’s sport event in history.
The roadshow travelled 800 miles, making 10 stops across 43 days, arriving at Manchester, Trafford Centre on May 30, 31 and June 1 and will be finishing on July 2 in London – just a few days before the tournament’s opening match at Old Trafford.
The UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Roadshow, supported by the BBC, demonstrates the scale and importance of this summer’s event and is part of a wider drive to introduce new fans to the women’s game to create a lasting legacy for women’s football – a key focus for UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.
