Christmas is fast approaching and whether you've sorted all your gifts or not, it's always good to know when the shops will be open during the festive period.
One of Greater Manchester's most popular shopping destinations is the Trafford Centre. From designer stores like Calvin Klein and HUGO, to high street shops including New Look and Next, the mall has a huge variety of places to bag a great deal.
Some might have left the Christmas shopping to the last minute and will be dashing through the aisles on Christmas Eve. While others will be looking forward to grabbing a bargain during the Boxing Day sales.

No matter your plans, here is when the Trafford Centre will be open during for Christmas and New Year.
On Christmas Eve, Saturday December 24, the Trafford Centre will be open from 9am to 5pm. It will be closed on Christmas day, but will open again on Boxing Day, which is a Monday. On December 26, it will open from 8am until 8pm.
As Christmas day falls on a weekend, we get a substitute weekday off instead. This year the bank holiday will be on Tuesday December 27. The mall will be open from 10am until 8pm on that day.
Between Christmas and New Year - on Wednesday December 28, Thursday 29 and Friday 30 - the Trafford Centre will be open from 10am until 10pm.
But this will change as the weekend approaches. For New Year's Eve, Saturday December 31, the Trafford Centre will open from 9am until 5pm.
On New Year's Day the hours will be adjusted to 12 noon until 6pm. Just like with Christmas, as New Year's Day falls on a Sunday, it means we get a weekday off as a Bank Holiday instead.
The first Monday of the year, January 2 2023, will be a Bank Holiday. The mall will be open from 10am until 8pm then.
